About The Position

Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a Supply Chain Business Unit Senior Leader for the MRO site in Foley facility. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the General Manager, carrying operational and strategic responsibility for the business while playing a key role in driving the growth and success of the organization. The role involves leading the Supply Chain function (Procurement, Stores and Logistics) in line with company strategy and performance targets, developing and executing strategic plans to expand capabilities, enhance efficiency, and drive profitability. The leader will champion the business culture by setting clear expectations and supporting transparent communication. Financial management includes managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Customer focus involves championing a culture of customer excellence to ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations in quality, delivery, and responsiveness. Team leadership and development require building and leading high-performing teams, driving engagement, accountability, and continuous development. Operational excellence includes implementing lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives, and owning the execution of long-term Supply Chain strategies to ensure stable supply of products and services, product/supplier/commodity performance, and compliance with RTX policies and procedures. The role also involves leading interactions with various RTX entities to align on enterprise-wide processes for sourcing and Plan for Every Part (PFEP) activity, leading the sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature, developing supplier Statements of Work (SOW), leading supplier assessments and development, and participating in audit activities. Monitoring and reporting business and contract compliance, and developing metrics are also key responsibilities. Effective communication and collaboration across all business levels, and working closely with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Operations, Compliance) for cross-functional alignment on commercial matters are essential.

Requirements

University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Knowledge of aerospace structures
Strong background in supply chain within an aerospace environment
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Experience working in an aerospace MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) environment
Experience working in engineering within an aerospace environment
Experience with nacelle or composite structures and related repair processes
Experience interacting with suppliers
Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
Experience presenting in group settings and communicating across organizational levels
Familiarity with regional cultural norms and working across different countries

Ensure compliance and provide guidance regarding RTX policies and procedures, and business system processes
Lead interaction with RTX, Aftermarket, Aftermarket MROs and Central Collins to align to one Enterprise-wide process for product and non-product sourcing
Lead interaction with Aftermarket and Aftermarket MROs to align Plan for Every part (PFEP) activity
Lead sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature including development of supplier Statements of Work (SOW) as required
Lead, initiate and participate in supplier assessments and development activities
Lead and participate in audit preparation, support and close out activities
Monitor and report business and contract compliance and develop metrics for processes, policies and procedures
Communicate and collaborate effectively across all levels of a business
Working closely with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Operations, Compliance, etc.) to ensure cross-functional alignment on commercial matters
