About The Position
The Supply Chain Associate works in warehouse materials management, handling inbound and outbound deliveries, inventory, order fulfillment, and supply distribution for the Cincinnati Children’s Offsite Warehouse and clinical storerooms. The role supports timely and accurate availability of supplies for internal customers and contributes to patient care through dependable distribution. The schedule is 11 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
Responsibilities
- Unload trucks and pallets and receive inbound deliveries.
- Stage inbound orders for the Cincinnati Children’s Offsite Warehouse and clinical storerooms.
- Coordinate outbound freight shipments and courier deliveries.
- Process deliveries and shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Put away inbound stock and replenish inventory locations in the Offsite Warehouse.
- Rotate stock and check product expiration dates.
- Perform inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas.
- Assist with product movement and other materials-handling activities.
- Pick and prepare supply orders for hospital clinical storerooms.
- Prepare orders for outbound shipment.
- Support urgent and special supply requests.
- Complete orders accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure supplies are available where and when needed.
- Support internal department customers so orders move through the process efficiently.
- Communicate inventory, order, and supply concerns as needed.
- Contribute to patient care through accurate and timely supply distribution.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and train team members as assigned.
