About The Position

The Supply Chain Associate orders, receives, and delivers items necessary for the operation of service areas. They also assist in the care and minor maintenance of the facility and direct vendors as needed. This role involves assisting with deliveries as they are brought to the delivery area.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the various departments within the building have the supplies, linen, and equipment needed to provide patient care.
Receiving deliveries from Carle couriers as well as other external vendors.
Delivering medications and supplies to various departments throughout the building in a timely manner.
Performing clerical duties involved in ordering and maintaining the appropriate amount of supply and linen inventory.
Working with corporate Purchasing for tracking and follow-up of any pending supply orders and providing timely updates to the appropriate individuals.
Assisting with overall maintenance and security of buildings and grounds and arranging for servicing and repair of medical equipment.
Monitoring and maintaining the linen room and biohazard room.
Assisting in the pick-up of soiled linen, oxygen tanks, and confidential records and ensuring these items are available for the vendor as needed.
Assisting in the supply ordering for other locations in the organization as needed.
Providing additional building support as needed.
