About The Position

Responsible for managing and developing inventory and logistics operations at hospital warehouse docks. The role primarily handles supplies arriving at the hospital and supports inventory management, warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, record keeping, order fulfillment, and materials transportation. The position contributes to building effective inventory and logistics infrastructure, improving logistics and record keeping, facilitating cycle counts, measuring inventory, and driving continuous improvement. It also provides periodic or ad hoc ground-level data and insights to supervisors to support decision-making in accordance with Sentara Healthcare priorities.

Requirements

• One year of materials associate experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Manage hospital warehouse inventory and logistics operations.
• Handle supplies arriving at the hospital, primarily in the warehouse.
• Support product receiving, shipping, record keeping, order fulfillment, and materials transportation.
• Facilitate cycle counts and measure inventory.
• Optimize logistics and record-keeping processes and support continuous improvement.
• Provide supervisors with periodic or ad hoc data and operational insights to facilitate decision-making.
