BuildNow is seeking a Supply Chain and Quality Manager responsible for ensuring a reliable pipeline of high-quality students while maintaining operational excellence in the training environment. This role combines facility and student operations leadership with recruiting pipeline management, ensuring that BuildNow consistently delivers job-ready graduates for the data center industry. The position serves as the operational backbone of the training program, ensuring the facility, curriculum delivery environment, and student experience operate to standard, while also managing the candidate supply chain through relationships with external recruiting agencies. Approximately 50% of the role focuses on on-site operations and student management, while 50% focuses on candidate pipeline management and recruiting coordination.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–10 years of leadership or operational experience in workforce development, education, recruiting, operations, or military leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operations, people, and processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across students, instructors, employers, and recruiting partners.
  • Comfortable working in a mission-driven startup environment with high accountability and ownership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with recruiting pipelines, staffing partners, or workforce programs strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day training site operations, ensuring classrooms, labs, and equipment support safe and effective instruction.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between instructors, students, partner institutions, and BuildNow leadership to ensure clear communication and rapid problem resolution.
  • Support employer hiring events, job fairs, and placement activities.
  • Match graduating students to employer opportunities based on performance, professionalism, and culture fit.
  • Identify operational improvements to enhance student outcomes, instructional efficiency, and program quality.
  • Manage BuildNow’s candidate supply chain by coordinating with external recruiting agencies and workforce partners.
  • Identify, engage, and qualify prospective students for BuildNow programs.
  • Maintain oversight of the candidate pipeline from initial engagement through enrollment and matriculation.
  • Track recruiting metrics including engagements, leads, enrollments, and conversion rates.
  • Provide structured feedback to recruiting partners to improve candidate quality and pipeline efficiency.
  • Coordinate recruiting activities including career fairs, workforce events, military transition programs, and employer referrals.
  • Maintain accurate candidate tracking and pipeline reporting to support program capacity planning and enrollment forecasting.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with BuildNow policies and ethical recruiting standards.
