About The Position

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for managing 15-20 suppliers, primarily for their plant. If a supplier provides parts to both the local plant and headquarters, the Supply Chain Analyst will manage inventory for both locations. This role involves managing purchase orders (POs) that are received, delayed, or not received. The analyst will receive an open order report each Monday from suppliers detailing PO shipments. Communication with suppliers will primarily be via email, with occasional phone calls regarding PO status. If an order requires an expedited fee or misses the shipment date, the analyst will conduct a 5Y and Root Cause investigation to understand the reason for the shortage and implement a permanent corrective action, with management support.
