Here, you will make an impact by: Supporting production planning operations. Responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain while ensuring customer requirements and supply chain metrics are attained. Manage the supply plan by purchasing raw materials, scheduling production and managing finished good inventory for multiple manufacturing areas Coordinate with other 3M locations, external suppliers, and various business teams to meet service, cost, and Inventory targets Develop and maintain operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand Provide planning analysis to support decision making Publish and present service and inventory metrics, results, and gap analysis Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets Identify and implement supply chain process improvement projects Business transformation readiness activities and projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • One (1) combined year of experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, materials, or business management or engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) combined years of experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Manufacturing experience in a manufacturing setting/environment
  • Experience with SAP
  • Advanced data analysis & Microsoft Excel skills
  • APICS CPIM certification or willingness to pursue
  • Six Sigma Green Belt experience or certification
  • Lean Manufacturing experience
