About The Position

This Supply Chain Analyst role focuses heavily on inventory analysis and control, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient management of inventory across internal systems and third-party logistics providers. You will use data-driven insights, supply chain knowledge, and modern tools to monitor, reconcile, and optimize inventory levels, supporting on-time shipments and high inventory accuracy. Working closely with 3PL partners, operations, procurement, finance, and other cross-functional teams, you will help maintain strong product availability while driving continuous improvements in processes, systems, and reporting.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or a closely related field (or equivalent relevant experience for early-career professionals).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including comfort with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, and basic formulas for data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for documentation, reporting, and presentations.
  • Experience working with inventory-focused WMS and ERP systems.
  • Understanding of supply chain and logistics operations, including inventory flows and fulfillment processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, desire to learn, and willingness to be challenged in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP systems, particularly in an inventory or supply chain context.
  • Familiarity with SQL and the ability to execute pre-built queries to analyze inventory data.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau to build or interpret dashboards and reports.
  • Experience managing inventory within robotics or advanced technology-focused fulfillment centers.
  • Background in managing discrepancies between ERP/WMS data and physical inventory counts.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes, especially where they impact inventory.
  • Experience working with dashboards for monitoring cycle counts, variances, and potential shipment risks.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams including transportation, operations, finance, accounting, and inventory.
  • Interest in contributing to the development and optimization of technology-driven supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory levels, demand patterns, and overall supply chain performance to identify opportunities for improvement in transactional and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory stock levels and cycle counts to support on-time shipments and high inventory accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues between physical inventory, 3PL systems, and internal inventory systems.
  • Perform regular inventory reconciliations and weekly cycle counts, including weekly onsite reviews.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for inventory metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Utilize inventory dashboards to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential risks in stock levels and movement.
  • Monitor and execute daily transactions in warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to support operational success and efficiency.
  • Manage inventory holds, scrapping activities, sub-inventory locator assignments, and revision-related inventory issues.
  • Work within Oracle ERP and other ERP systems to ensure accurate inventory records and alignment with physical counts.
  • Support inventory planning and procurement decisions by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with metering centers, 3PLs, vendors, and internal supply chain teams to align on inventory actions and resolve issues.
  • Communicate inventory actions and reconciliation results clearly to 3PL partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with JIRA ticket resolutions related to inventory, system issues, and process changes.
  • Execute pre-built SQL queries and analyze inventory data to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Support Agile and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes by managing inventory impacts of product or process changes.
  • Analyze data to improve inventory accuracy, reduce waste, and enhance overall inventory management practices.
  • Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion within the inventory and broader operations teams.
  • Manage logistics activities within the inventory team, including coordination with transportation, operations, and inventory functions.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing inventory management and supporting the future of robotics-focused operations.
