About The Position

NeoMetal, a leader in the body jewelry industry since 1997, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of their supply chain while leveraging data for improvements. This role involves owning purchasing execution, vendor communication, ERP and master data accuracy, and inventory support for manufacturing. The analyst will also analyze purchasing, inventory, and vendor data to identify trends, forecast material needs, measure performance, and recommend cost-saving and risk-reducing changes. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with ERP systems, and skilled at translating data into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management, including analytical, planning, or reporting work.
  • Hands-on ERP experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and reports built from large data sets.
  • Working knowledge of purchase orders, inventory transactions, receiving, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Working knowledge of planning concepts such as MRP, forecasting, reorder points, safety stock, and lead-time management.
  • Ability to trace inventory movement through purchasing and manufacturing and pinpoint error origins.
  • Ability to independently resolve purchasing, receiving, inventory, billing, and ERP discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into practical recommendations and present them to operations teams and leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills for handling multiple open tasks and follow-ups.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Comfort working under multiple deadlines, prioritizing proactively, and supporting several projects simultaneously.
  • A self-directed, adaptable approach and eagerness to learn new processes and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • NetSuite experience, including building saved searches or reports.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain purchase orders based on established purchasing requirements.
  • Work directly with vendors on order placement, confirmations, pricing, lead times, delivery dates, and shortages.
  • Audit open purchase orders regularly for accuracy in quantities, pricing, dates, and statuses.
  • Follow up on past-due or at-risk orders and proactively flag potential supply issues.
  • Create and maintain item and supply chain records in the ERP, including SKUs, Bills of Material (BOMs), and routings.
  • Investigate and resolve ERP discrepancies across purchase orders, work orders, inventory, and receiving.
  • Keep documentation current and adhere to established supply chain procedures and controls.
  • Support inventory accuracy through research, reconciliation, cycle count support, and discrepancy correction.
  • Monitor inventory levels to identify potential shortages, excess stock, or slow-moving/obsolete items, and recommend actions.
  • Analyze purchasing, usage, and inventory data to identify trends, shortages, and excess.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, pricing, and lead times to support sourcing decisions, savings, and negotiations.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring purchasing, inventory, or system issues and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Support material and capacity planning for new programs, product changes, and volume increases.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and clear summaries for supply chain and operations leadership.
  • Collaborate with production, inventory, receiving, finance, and other teams to resolve daily supply chain issues.
  • Support the broader Supply Chain team and undertake other related duties as assigned.
