Supply Chain Analyst
About The Position
The Supply Chain Analyst will work in conjunction with the entire supply chain team at Shearer Supply, encompassing Residential, Parts & Supply, and Commercial divisions. This role involves purchasing and maintaining partnerships with multiple vendors, expediting and ensuring sufficient stock across a large distribution network, and negotiating pricing and payment terms. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining balanced inventory within a given budget across 15 warehouses company-wide. Additionally, the role requires creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and custom reports to measure performance and present findings to management and ownership. These reports will include, but not be limited to, gross profit optimization, price contract negotiation, inventory analysis, forecasting, and vendor scorecards.
Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while performing desk-related tasks.
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones.
- Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents clearly.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity during long periods of work.
- Ability to work in a standard office environment.
Responsibilities

- Creating KPI’s and custom reports to measure performance and present to management and ownership; to include but not be limited to: Gross profit optimization, Price contract negotiation, Inventory analysis, Forecasting, Vendor scorecards.
