About The Position

This Supply Chain / Sourcing Analyst role focuses on strategically managing and expanding a complex, multi-step supplier network for highly specialized disc products. The primary goal is to take ownership of the existing supply chain, improve its performance, and help grow it into a fully developed division. You will concentrate on supplier identification, qualification, and performance management, working closely with an internal procurement team while contributing to long-term sourcing strategy and potential import/export compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, business, or engineering.
  • 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
  • Experience with RFP/RFQ processes and supplier evaluation.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.
  • Ability to work strategically alongside procurement teams.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers/projects.
  • Valid passport; able to travel internationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor or complex manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with international suppliers (e.g., Europe/Asia).
  • Experience in technical or engineering environments.
  • Knowledge of diffusion bonding, metal manufacturing, or photo-etching (preferred).
  • Exposure to import/export compliance.
  • Experience with supplier performance programs and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to grow into a broader supply chain leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the multi-step disc manufacturing supply chain to ensure cost, quality, and reliability.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to expand to 3 suppliers per product.
  • Support supplier selection through data analysis (capability, capacity, quality, cost, delivery).
  • Participate in supplier audits, due diligence, and technical assessments.
  • Collaborate with suppliers across metal manufacturing, finishing, photo-etching, and diffusion bonding.
  • Transition from single- to multi-supplier strategies to improve resilience.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews (delivery, cost, quality, lead time).
  • Support RFP/RFQ processes, including requirements definition, analysis, and selection.
  • Partner with procurement, planning, logistics, and customer service teams.
  • Build supplier relationships and drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify risks, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure production alignment and compliance with import/export regulations.
  • Maintain supplier data and reporting using SAP or similar tools.
  • Travel (≈30%) for supplier visits and on-site evaluations (domestic + international).
