About The Position

The Supply Chain Analyst supports global supply chain operations by monitoring material flow, managing inventory levels, and coordinating production requirements to ensure on-time delivery and efficient manufacturing performance. This role uses ERP/SAP systems and Lean Materials Management techniques to improve processes, support production schedules, and maintain accurate supply chain data in a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of recent experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, or inventory management.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP, to manage materials and inventory data.
  • Proven experience managing inventory levels to ensure production quotas and schedules can be met.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze inventory data to maintain accurate stock levels and support production planning.
  • Experience communicating with internal stakeholders and vendors to confirm material requirements and resolve supply issues.
  • Strong understanding of basic supply chain principles, including material flow, production planning, and inventory control.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and respond quickly to changing production needs.
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, for coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to use basic office and ERP software tools to track metrics, generate reports, and support decision-making.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean Materials Management techniques and continuous improvement concepts is beneficial.
  • Experience working in a unionized (UAW) or contract-driven environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to participate in or support training, development, and performance feedback for team members.
  • Interest in long-term career growth within a large, multi-plant manufacturing organization.
  • Comfort working on the production floor and closely with operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the flow of raw materials, in-process inventory, and finished goods using SAP and other ERP tools to support production schedules.
  • Coordinate material and production mix requirements to ensure production quotas are met and customer demand is fulfilled on time.
  • Utilize SAP to track material movements, update inventory records, and maintain accurate system data for inventory levels and production status.
  • Expedite the movement of materials as needed to avoid production delays and support continuous operations.
  • Maintain accurate data on inventory levels, production efficiency, and key production metrics to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including production and procurement, to align material availability with production needs.
  • Communicate with internal parties and external vendors to confirm material requirements, ensure correct quantities are on hand, and address any supply issues.
  • Support the execution of quality requirements and apply quality tools and techniques when necessary to maintain product and process standards.
  • Help maintain safety and good housekeeping standards within the supply chain and production areas.
  • Support adherence to budgeted cost targets by managing materials efficiently and minimizing waste or excess inventory.
  • Follow and support compliance with terms of local and national agreements relevant to the operation.
  • Assist with or support training and development activities for team members involved in supply chain processes as needed.
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending enhancements.
  • Support scheduling and coordination activities, including overtime planning, in alignment with contractual and operational requirements.
  • Perform all other supply chain and operations-related duties as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient production.
