About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position is for a Supply Base Manager on the B52 Radar Modernization Program (RMP). This position may also provide support to the B52 Commercial Engine replacement Program (CERP). This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Requirements

  • More than 8 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
  • More than 8 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • More than 8 many years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment
  • A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 5 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
  • More than 8 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

Responsibilities

  • Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
  • Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
  • Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs
  • Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
  • Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies
  • Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs
