About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position is for a Supply Base Manager on the B52 Radar Modernization Program (RMP). This position may also provide support to the B52 Commercial Engine replacement Program (CERP).

Requirements

More than 8 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
More than 8 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
More than 8 many years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment
A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher
More than 5 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
More than 8 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs
Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies
Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs
