About The Position

As a Supply Associate, you support service operations by ensuring technicians have the correct parts when needed. You manage inventory accuracy, process incoming shipments, and provide customer service to internal and external customers. The position is suited to detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to contribute to an automotive customer experience.

Requirements

• Complete Supply Associate Workstation Certifications and adhere to competency standards.
• Read, interpret, and accurately record data.
• Have intermediate computer skills, including spreadsheet proficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with associates and vendors.
• Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Have effective verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and provide the correct parts for customer vehicles.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments into inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stocking levels.
• Control supplies to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
• Allocate parts using CarMax internal systems to support a smooth workflow.
• Return incorrect or defective parts to vendors promptly.
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Benefits

• Up to 48 hours of paid sick time per year, accrued each pay period, for eligible full-time hourly or commission/incentive-eligible associates.
• Between 80 and 200 hours of vacation time per year after a 90-day waiting period, depending on years of continuous service, for eligible full-time hourly or commission/incentive-eligible associates.
• Eight hours of pay for each of six scheduled paid holidays per year, plus one floating holiday, for eligible full-time hourly or commission/incentive-eligible associates.
• Holiday Premium Pay for eligible associates who work on a scheduled holiday due to business need.
• Paid time away for full-time salaried associates, with no specified limit, for sick time, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, and floating holidays, subject to manager approval.
