About The Position

As a Supply Associate, you support service operations by ensuring technicians have the correct parts when needed. You manage inventory accuracy, process incoming shipments, and provide customer service to internal and external customers. The role is suited to detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to contribute to an automotive service experience.

Requirements

• Complete Supply Associate Workstation Certifications and adhere to competency standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately record data.
• Intermediate computer skills, including spreadsheet proficiency.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with associates and vendors.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Effective verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and provide the correct parts for customer vehicles.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments into inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stocking levels.
• Control supplies to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
• Allocate parts using CarMax internal systems to support smooth workflow.
• Return incorrect or defective parts to vendors promptly.
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Benefits

• Paid sick time: up to 48 hours per year, accrued per pay period, for eligible full-time hourly or commission/incentive associates.
• Vacation time: 80 to 200 hours per year after a 90-day waiting period, depending on years of continuous service, for eligible full-time hourly or commission/incentive associates.
• Six paid scheduled holidays per year, with 8 hours of pay for each, plus one floating holiday for eligible full-time hourly or commission/incentive associates.
• Holiday Premium Pay when eligible associates work on a scheduled holiday due to business need.
• Full-time salaried associates receive paid time away as needed for sick leave, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, and floating holidays, subject to manager approval.
