About The Position

Electrolux is seeking a Supplier Quality Tech to support quality processes at its Springfield, Tennessee location. The role works with Operations Leadership and cross-functional teams to improve NRFT, train employees on standard work and JDS’s, coordinate supplier-related containment and product releases, and communicate product defects and containment activities to suppliers. The position requires manufacturing or quality experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Sponsorship and relocation are not offered.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Either 3 to 5 years of Electrolux experience with working knowledge of required processes, or 5 years of experience in a manufacturing- or quality-related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Proven experience in team building and employee motivation.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and repetitively lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for much of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Train employees to follow standard work and understand JDS’s.
• Engage proactively with Operations Leadership using EMS principles, with the goal of improving NRFT.
• Facilitate problem-solving activities with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with SQEs on containment initiatives and product releases.
• Generate SMRR reports and communicate with suppliers about defects and containment activities.
