About The Position

Electrolux is hiring a Supplier Quality Tech for its Springfield, Tennessee location. The role supports supplier and manufacturing quality by training employees on standard work and JDS’s, engaging with Operations Leadership to improve NRFT, facilitating cross-functional problem solving, coordinating with SQEs on containment initiatives and product releases, and communicating supplier defects and containment activities through SMRR reports. The position requires manufacturing or quality experience, Microsoft Office knowledge, clear English communication, and the ability to perform physical tasks including repetitive lifting and standing for much of the shift. Sponsorship and relocation are not offered.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years of Electrolux experience with working knowledge of required processes, or five years of experience in a manufacturing- or quality-related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Proven experience in team building and employee motivation.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and repetitively lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for much of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Train employees to follow standard work and understand JDS’s.
• Engage proactively each day with Operations Leadership, using EMS principles with the goal of improving NRFT.
• Facilitate problem-solving activities with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with SQEs on containment initiatives and product releases.
• Generate SMRR reports and communicate with suppliers about defects and containment activities.
