About The Position

The Supplier Quality Review Specialist prepares and documents supplier quality reviews to evaluate supplier performance against Werfen’s quality, reliability, compliance, and cost objectives and applicable regulatory and internal standards. The role focuses on compiling supplier quality data, documenting review results, and facilitating communication of findings to internal and external stakeholders.

The position works with Quality Assurance, Procurement, suppliers, and other process stakeholders. It supports accurate and timely review documentation, supplier certification and registration records, and audit requests related to the Supplier Quality Review process. This is an individual-contributor role based onsite in Norcross, Georgia, for a six-month temporary assignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Quality, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality, supplier management, procurement, or materials evaluation; preferably in medical devices, diagnostics, or regulated environments.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience evaluating quality data, supplier performance metrics, and compliance documentation.
• Proficiency with quality systems and documentation tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills; able to work well with diverse groups.
• Ability to execute tasks in alignment with established guidelines and procedures, with a high level of autonomy.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or regulated environments.
• Experience with Infor LN and/or SAP.
• Relevant work experience may substitute for a degree, and management may make exceptions to the years-of-experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and document Supplier Quality Reviews in accordance with internal procedures and supplier objectives.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Procurement to align on review findings.
• Prepare and archive Supplier Quality Review reports on time and in accordance with internal procedures.
• Ensure supplier review documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in the appropriate quality management system in compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Review and archive supplier certifications and registrations with regulatory bodies, including FDA and ISO.
• Support communication of review findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audit requests specific to the Supplier Quality Review process and its outputs.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
