As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our suppliers deliver high-quality products and services that meet our stringent requirements. You will leverage your analytical skills, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit to drive continuous improvement throughout our supply base and contribute to the success of our programs. This is a dynamic role with opportunities for growth and impact. We offer two primary types of Supplier Quality Engineer roles, each with a unique focus and opportunity to contribute. 1. Business Area Supplier Quality Engineer (Program-Focused): These roles are embedded within specific programs, working closely with program teams to ensure supplier quality directly supports program milestones and deliverables. You’ll be heavily involved in evaluating non-conforming product, assessing corrective actions, and driving resolution of issues impacting program execution. Expect a strong focus on problem solving and direct support of production. 2. Category Supplier Quality Engineer (Supplier-Focused): These roles concentrate on building strong relationships with suppliers across a specific commodity or category, with a focus on long-term supplier development, capability assessments, problem-solving, and proactive risk mitigation. In this role you will implement quality engineering tools and processes to ensure suppliers achieve robust manufacturing and acceptance plans to drive results. Expertise in specific manufacturing technologies/processes (e.g., PCB/PWB, microelectronics, machining, welding/brazing, optics) is essential. In these roles each Supplier Quality Engineer is aligned with suppliers/commodities based on their technology/process expertise.
