About The Position

As a Supplier Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of Pratt & Whitney's supplier network. You will be responsible for executing supplier quality assurance activities, conducting audits, analyzing quality issues, and driving corrective actions to ensure suppliers consistently meet Pratt & Whitney, regulatory, industry, and customer requirements. This role is focused on defect prevention, continuous improvement, supplier performance, and risk reduction. You will partner closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify root causes, implement effective corrective actions, and strengthen processes that improve product quality, reduce quality costs, and support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Auditing, Quality Assurance, Quality Inspection, Supplier Quality, or a related quality discipline within a regulated environment, OR, an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, OR, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of quality auditing experience, including supplier audits and/or internal audits.
  • Experience leading or performing Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
  • Previous supplier quality or quality assurance experience within the aerospace/aviation industry.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9110, ISO 9001, or similar quality management standards.
  • AS9100 or AS9110 Auditor Certification.
  • Experience evaluating supplier processes, identifying systemic quality risks, and verifying corrective action effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct supplier quality audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with Pratt & Whitney requirements, applicable regulatory standards, quality management systems, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze supplier quality performance, identify trends and potential risks, and drive opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Lead or support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities for supplier quality issues, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, implementation, and effectiveness verification.
  • Develop and manage corrective action plans with suppliers to address process failures, nonconformances, and recurring quality issues.
  • Perform on-site supplier visits, as required, to support root cause investigations, process assessments, corrective action implementation, and verification of effectiveness.
  • Partner directly with suppliers to improve manufacturing and quality processes and prevent recurrence of defects.
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality procedures and processes to ensure alignment with regulatory, ISO/AS standards, and customer requirements.
  • Support the PWES internal audit program, including audit preparation, execution, documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Support external audits and assessments as required.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality issues and improve overall supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate audit, quality, and corrective action documentation in accordance with applicable procedures and requirements.
  • Travel to supplier locations and other business sites as needed; up to 25% travel is expected.
