About The Position

This role involves researching and analyzing industry and competitive conditions, customer needs, and supplier needs. The Specialist will work with suppliers to coordinate cooperative opportunities, advertising campaigns, and marketing content. The position requires comfort in various settings, from data analysis to confident interaction with senior management regarding supplier, market, and competitive strategy. The goal is to contribute to supplier relationships, providing product solutions and unique advantages to establish Mouser as a preferred partner for suppliers and a preferred provider of products for customers. The role also involves aligning supplier marketing efforts with Mouser's strategy, providing product and plan management support to maximize global growth opportunities, and utilizing product marketing opportunities to support new designs and advanced technologies through strategy meetings. Additionally, the Specialist will work with suppliers to obtain reimbursement for cooperative marketing programs, coordinate supplier marketing activities, and manage other initiatives to support team and company growth. The role also includes supporting the company's total quality process and representing the company professionally, while being able to promptly answer support-related communications.

Requirements

  • Skill evaluation: Behavioral (80%); Excel (80%).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to ongoing production or process changes and new projects.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capable of independent tasks and interactions with suppliers.
  • Project management skills, providing routine status updates and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to discern issues and coordinate appropriate escalation for resolution.
  • Works with suppliers and Mouser’s Supplier Management team to align and implement the marketing strategy.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience, or an approved combination of education and experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes product marketing opportunities that support new designs and advanced technologies through strategy meetings with Suppliers and/or the Supplier Management team.
  • Works with suppliers to obtain reimbursement for cooperative marketing programs and coordinates scheduling of supplier marketing activities.
  • Manages other initiatives as necessary to support team and company growth.
  • Supports and participates in company total quality process.
  • Represents the company in a professional manner.
  • Able to promptly answer support related communications.
