  • Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, through-hole wave and selective soldering, reflow oven profiles, test strategies, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in statistics, reading schematics, component drawings, and developing manufacturing processes for high volume capacity and quality targets
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, SPC, DFMEA/PFMEA, ISO, and AECQ quality systems
  • Highly collaborative, data-driven, and proactive; capable of thriving in fast-paced startup environments
  • Willingness to travel internationally to supplier and CM sites as needed (30%)

  • Partner with GSMs, Design Engineering, and suppliers to align specifications, tolerance stack-ups, test coverage, and process controls
  • Review dimensional and quality reports, first article inspections, and other process control data to ensure part compliance
  • Execute PPAP/FAI activities and help define incoming inspection criteria based on part criticality, GD&T, and critical-to-quality key characteristics
  • Support supplier non-conformance resolution, drive 8D investigations, and follow through with verification of effectiveness activities with vendors
  • Maintain supplier scorecards with clear KPIs such as yield, PPM, delivery performance, and DFM responsiveness
  • Support NPI builds and DFM/DFA feedback loops through early supplier engagement and pilot line walkthroughs
  • Help build and define a strong and capable network of vendor partners with robust process, technical capability, reliability, and capacity
  • Support make-vs-buy, dual sourcing, and localization efforts across global supply chains
