About The Position

This role is part of the Supply Chain Finance Supplier Onboarding product team within Wells Fargo Commercial Banking. Supplier Finance provides working-capital solutions to Commercial Banking and Corporate and Investment Banking clients, helping their suppliers receive early payment for invoices through accounts receivable purchases or discounts. The position is an external-facing, consultative sales and onboarding role focused on increasing supplier participation in Buyer-sponsored programs. The specialist contacts referred suppliers through virtual meetings, phone, and email to explain program benefits, answer financial and program questions, and support completion of onboarding documentation. Supplier leads are referred by the Bank’s large multinational clients and are expecting outreach; this is not a telemarketing or cold-calling role. Success requires financial acumen, professional presence, and effective communication with C-level and senior finance executives. The role manages supplier sourcing, onboarding, documentation, and changes for existing participants; coordinates legal documentation and UCC filings; serves as a supplier point of contact; and tracks sales and onboarding activity in Salesforce. It also involves researching supplier contacts, collaborating on business initiatives and presentations, and complying with applicable risk, control, regulatory, and compliance requirements. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and involves up to 10% travel. Employees must be willing to work on-site at the stated location. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
