The Supplier Enablement Specialist role involves collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute supplier enablement strategies, communicating with suppliers to explain platform benefits and assist with onboarding, identifying upsell opportunities, introducing additional services, providing training and support, and serving as the primary point of contact for suppliers. The specialist will also track onboarding progress, work with cross-functional teams, and monitor market trends to provide recommendations for improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience or background in payments and/or accounting is strongly recommended.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in procurement, supplier management, or supplier enablement.
  • Strong understanding of supplier onboarding processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to present effectively to groups of varying sizes.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a demonstrated ability to identify upsell opportunities, influence decision-making, and drive customer adoption.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

  • Proficiency in using supplier management or procurement software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute supplier enablement strategies.
  • Communicate with suppliers to explain the benefits of using our platform and assist with the onboarding process.
  • Identify upsell opportunities by reintroducing product capabilities and promoting adoption of optimized payment methods.
  • Introduce additional services to enhance supplier value and drive increased platform adoption.
  • Provide training and support to suppliers to ensure successful integration and utilization of our services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track and report on supplier onboarding progress, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product Development, to ensure alignment and success.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and industry best practices related to supplier enablement, providing recommendations for improvement.
