Citizenship and Immigration Services•Camp Springs, MD

About The Position

The Supervisory Immigration Officer works within USCIS’s Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate (FDNS), which supports the integrity of the U.S. legal immigration system by identifying potential national security and public safety threats, detecting and deterring fraud, and using law enforcement and intelligence information. FDNS identifies and records indicators of fraud, manages fraud cases, identifies vulnerabilities in the immigration system, and coordinates support for law enforcement and national security matters. The role also includes personnel and administrative management responsibilities. The selectee may be required to complete residential, paid FDNS Officer Basic Training and a six-week residential, paid USCIS Basic Officer training program, as well as agency-required supervisory training.
