About The Position

The Supervisory Case Manager oversees advocacy, crisis intervention, support services, and coordination with funding sources. Ensures that their assigned program meets or exceeds program objectives, supervises the provision of high-quality services for program participants, and ensures ongoing compliance with funder requirements and agency policy and procedure. Responsible for recruiting, training, supervising, and scheduling staff, volunteers, and interns. Generally, will supervise up to 3 direct reports. Supervisory Case Manager will also be responsible for conducting outreach in conjunction with the team and all aspects of case management. Acts as a knowledgeable liaison to community agencies and is responsible for promoting awareness of the Volunteers of America resources and services. The position requires ongoing interaction with team members, program participants, and community stakeholders.

  • Utilization of various databases including Homeless Management Information System, Colorado Division of Housing rental system, and Service Point.

  • High level of competency working with Microsoft Office suite and cloud-based applications.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or a closely related field or related experience.
  • 1 year of direct, full-time case management experience demonstrating the ability to consistently apply field-relevant best practices and standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to fulfill relevant program compliance and administrative requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams of human service professionals.
  • Must possess a Colorado driver’s license and state-mandated automobile insurance.
  • Must possess a personal vehicle that may be used for work-related travel (reimbursement for mileage is available).
  • Must complete agency and program credentialing within 12 weeks of hire and maintain credentialing standards thereafter.
