About The Position

This position supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance. The employee sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The position provides effective leadership and cultivates working relationships with personnel throughout the organization.

The supervisor develops and maintains working relationships with employees, management, and customers; facilitates training for new and current employees; and ensures employees comply with safety policies and applicable requirements. The role manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency and promotes a positive, team-oriented environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, cooperation, and continual improvement. The supervisor supports employee growth through development plans, orientation, skills and safety training, materials and information, regular evaluations, and coaching.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

• Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, develop, and hold workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance.
• Set and maintain high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitate training for new and current employees.
• Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and comply with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
• Implement employee personal development plans as required.
• Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
