MPA provides after-sales service parts support for Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Genesis. In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis - which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada. Description JOB PURPOSE The Supervisor, Supply will support the entire Supply team and Mobis leadership with clear strategic direction and decision making on systems and processes to ensure parts availability to support OE seNice and accessory parts requirements. This person will lead a small team to include super user roles that will be responsible for global system settings and parameters that drive demand forecasts and supply replenishment. This person will also be responsible for leading the team that develops and improves standard operating procedures (SOPs), team performance monitoring, training, executive level communication/reporting, and supporting ad-hoc requests/ special projects. This leadership role will be responsible for growing and maintaining organizational intelligence. Systems, data integrity, and process effectiveness are extremely important. This role is responsible for making recommendations and decisions in these areas that have a direct impact on cash (inventory investment), expenses (freight, warehousing), income (parts sales), and customer seNice (Fill Rate, Back Order lines).The SupeNisor, Supply (Strategic Planning) role is pivotal in the Financial and Operational success of MPA.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of directly-related experience in inventory management
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems/issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and follow-up to ensure positive results is required
  • 2 or more years directly supervising staff
  • Experience with inventory planning required
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required
  • Use of intermediate software packages (word processing, spreadsheets)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Word, PowerPoint preferred, MS Access or other SQL Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction, analysis, recommendations/decisions, and team leadership/direction in an effort to establish and achieve organizational KPl's
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement process (or systems) improvements aligned to MPA goals and strategies in order to maximize organizational effectiveness in demand forecasting, supply replenishment, and expediting.
  • Act as a mentor and develop/administer a Supply Team performance evaluation and training program to ensure consistent performance in order to maintain a high level of organizational intelligence.
  • Develop, review, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with Supply Team leadership on auditing adherence to SOP's.
  • Generate KPI reports to ensure effective communication of performance against objectives for internal customers, external customers, and executive management
  • Provide leadership and mentor team members in all areas of Parts and Accessories supply as needed in order to grow and maintain organizational intelligence
  • Establish Supply KP l's (group and individual) aligned to customer and internal organizational priorities
  • Develop and administer group and individual KPI tracking and training program
  • Lead KPI monitoring and generation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reports, OE brand updates, VIP presentations, and other executive summaries and reports as needed to track KPI performance.
  • Provide strategic plan/direction aligned to organizational goals on how to achieve set KPl's
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate strategic plan/direction to internal and external customers
  • Provide expert level analysis of process or systems issues impacting KPI achievement
  • Provide clear recommendations and decisions on improving processes or systems to ensure we have effective and accurate forecast and purchase plans to meet all Supply department KPl's
  • Lead the setting of Supply system priorities and ensure we have effective solution designs, testing, and implementation of short and long term system enhancements.
  • Coordinate with OEs and Systems department to address any system problems effecting the planning and expediting of parts and accessories.
  • Communicate with Management of MPA and OEs issues and resolutions to provide better customer service through process improvement.
  • Provide guidance to Supply Analysts to meet department objectives for fill rate and inventory (MOS).
  • Ensure team members adhere to MPA SOP's, policies, and procedures
  • Promote a positive team environment with empowered employees where team members are held accountable
  • Manage special projects as needed
  • Support any ad-hoc requests for data or analysis
  • Further develop and ensure all Supply SOP's are well documented and easily accessible for ease of use
  • Act as the systems voice for Supply in the development or redevelopment of any major systems changes to ensure MPA processes are considered and represented in any changes
  • Coordinate with global partners to identify best practices and maximize global supply chain operations
