About The Position

The Supply Chain Supervisor – Distribution Warehouse leads the warehouse staff to operate and facilitate the daily work of the warehouse. Manages the performance reporting of the warehouse including inventory levels, supply cost control, staff overhead and other expenditures. Being a Distribution Warehouse Supervisor establishes daily and weekly distribution goals and objectives and ensures the execution. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
Previous experience managing diverse teams of 10-15+ associates
4–5+ years supervisory experience
2+years supervising in a distribution center environment
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with strong interpersonal skills
Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict; ability to provide feedback and develop other leaders
Strong reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others
Strong technical skills including, word, excel and WMS experience

Responsibilities

Ensures volume and productivity goals by area are met or exceeded
Manage a safe workplace by advocating safety training and accident preparedness; lead the logistics group in safe and efficient operation of all equipment
Seeks consistent improvements
Supports the facility operating budget and KPIs by validating and achieving standards, achieving and exceeding daily operating goals, and driving down non-measured / indirect hours while maintaining service levels
Responsible for all necessary storage, staging, packaging, and outbound warehouse material handling activities.
Ensures inventory integrity and systems integrity and execution, while maximizing productivity throughout the warehouse center.
Ensures adherence to proper work methods and product flows in a timely manner and that product flow problems are identified early and are proactively resolved
Ensure performance plans are set, maintained and continuously improved, also actively develop Team leads and Staff; coaches and counsels with integrity
Responsible for the repacking, kitting, and sequencing of all products and parts for our internal customers utilizing scanning and reporting.
