Responsibilities
- Responds to requests for security services throughout hospital.
- Assists medical staff and nursing with patient control issues.
- Investigates and reports incidents & occurrences of injury, accident, loss or damage to property, & general liability.
- Conducts daily inspection rounds of the facility, documents security, safety and environmental conditions.
- Facilitates repair or correction and follows up on status of ongoing repairs to resolve safety or security problems.
- Participates in staff meetings, security consultations, orientation and training related to security within departments throughout the hospital.
- Investigates and resolves customer service issues as assigned by the security desk.
- Responsible for shift activity and evaluation of subordinates' performance.
- Responsible for developing a monthly working schedule for 30 personnel department.
- Responsible for weekly payroll for 30 personnel department.
- Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
