Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience in sample management, biobanking, or laboratory operations within a clinical research environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to sample handling and storage.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to high standards of quality and compliance.
• Must have the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day sample management laboratory operations, including sample receipt, processing, storage, and shipment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and internal policies related to sample management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support timely and accurate sample processing for clinical trial activities.
• Manage inventory control and tracking systems, maintaining documentation and chain of custody for all samples.
• Provide leadership and training to sample management staff and foster continuous improvement and quality assurance.
