Oversees departmental operations and coordinates clinical activities. Participates in the recruitment and hiring of staff, as well as schedules, supervises, trains, develops and disciplines staff. Assists in development of protocols and performance improvement activities to assess process and outcomes. Performs patient care as necessary.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy from Accredited Respiratory Program Required
  • 5 years experience in Respiratory Care Required
  • PA Respiratory Care License Required
  • Reg Respiratory Therapist Required
  • Basic Life Support Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program or related field of study Preferred or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Previous experience in a leadership/supervisory role in a Critical Patient Care setting Preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Preferred
