About The Position

Temple University Hospital is a nationally respected teaching hospital on Temple University's bustling Health Sciences Center campus. As the chief clinical training site for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, the hospital provides a dynamic environment for high-quality care, teaching, and cutting edge research. This role provides management and leadership in the department, oversees departmental operations and coordinates clinical activities. It also participates in the recruitment and hiring of staff, as well as schedules, supervises, trains, develops and disciplines staff. Assists in development of protocols and performance improvement activities to assess process and outcomes. Performs patient care as necessary.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy from Accredited Respiratory Program Required
  • 5 years experience in Respiratory Care Required
  • PA Respiratory Care License Required
  • Reg Respiratory Therapist Required
  • Basic Life Support Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program or related field of study Preferred
  • Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
  • Previous experience in a leadership/supervisory role in a Critical Patient Care setting Preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Preferred
