The Supervisor Radiology Scheduling and Registration shall be responsible for ensuring all correct radiology orders and related imaging procedures as prescribed by the referring physician are ordered efficiently and correctly to include all pertinent clinical information needed to complete the study and responsible for coordinating workflow throughout the department. You will also be responsible for the timely receipt of all staff evaluations pertaining to employees of the front desk and file areas and for education and counseling of all employees under her direct supervision in regards to patient satisfaction and patient safety initiatives. This is a full time day position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent accepted
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with patients, patient’s families, physicians, and other health care providers.
Organizational skills necessary in order to successfully order exams correctly and efficiently.
Two year supervisor experience
