Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 3-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Follows policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations.
  • Follows and/ or develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc.
  • Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.
  • Working supervisor of a team (spends a portion of time performing the work supervised) or supervises the daily activities of production team members.
  • Must have one or more of any direct report type.
  • Analyses information to solve on-going problems and implements procedures and approaches to complete work.
  • Responsible for results of the team.
  • Provides direction to team using extensive knowledge of established precedents and practices.
  • Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment.
  • Supervises quality assurance analysis to ensure consistent and reliable operation in a laboratory setting.
  • Implements quality control procedures for the laboratory.
  • Performs routine analysis to ensure the integrity of data, processes, and results and provides recommendations to improve quality standards.
  • Reviews and interprets test results to ensure accuracy, precision, and repeatability.
  • Performs calculations and determinations to validate results or specifications.
  • Validates and verifies methods and identifies issues that may affect the accuracy and integrity of test results.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers.
