Requirements

Associate's Degree and 3-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Follows policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations.
Follows and/ or develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc.
Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.
Working supervisor of a team (spends a portion of time performing the work supervised) or supervises the daily activities of production team members.
Must have one or more of any direct report type.
Analyses information to solve on-going problems and implements procedures and approaches to complete work.
Responsible for results of the team.
Provides direction to team using extensive knowledge of established precedents and practices.
Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment.
Supervises quality assurance analysis to ensure consistent and reliable operation in a laboratory setting.
Implements quality control procedures for the laboratory.
Performs routine analysis to ensure the integrity of data, processes, and results and provides recommendations to improve quality standards.
Reviews and interprets test results to ensure accuracy, precision, and repeatability.
Performs calculations and determinations to validate results or specifications.
Validates and verifies methods and identifies issues that may affect the accuracy and integrity of test results.
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers.
