About The Position
Supervises, plans, and directs the daily activities of professional fee coders and charge entry staff. Oversees staff training and performance as well as timely submission of Professional Fee charges. This position is 100% remote for WASHINGTON STATE ONLY.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Health Information Management & Systems (or closely related field) from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum two years of progressively responsible, directly related work experience in the Health Information Management field.
- Certified Coding Associate (CCS-P) thru AHIMA or CPC thru APPC.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Information, Health Care Administration, or related field.
- Three or more years of directly related experience, including leadership.
- Experience in Surgical specialty professional fee coding.
- Teaching physician rules.
- EPIC system knowledge.
- Resolute billing module.
