About The Position

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Supervisor for their Primary Care department in Bixby, OK. This full-time position involves supervising assigned staff in performing activities and tasks for the practice site(s). The role includes supervising orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring staff, assisting with performance evaluations, participating in multidisciplinary meetings, and ensuring staff compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of experience can be used in lieu of education, if applicable.

• Previous leadership or lead experience (healthcare or medical office preferred)
• Strong organization and ability to manage daily clinic operations
• Confident in coaching staff and holding team members accountable
• Able to problem-solve and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on and willing to jump in where needed, lead by example
• EMR experience
• MA experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise the orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Assist with performance evaluations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings or committees addressing issues and implementation of new services.
• Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
