About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Primary Care Physician at a Community Health Center in Richmond, VA. The physician will perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, implement treatment plans, and provide comprehensive health maintenance. Requirements
- Active Virginia license
- DEA registration required
- Completion of an approved family practice residency
Responsibilities
- Performs physical examinations and orders diagnostic tests
- Interprets examination findings and test results, and implements treatment plans
- Provides comprehensive, continuing health maintenance and medical care to the entire family unit
- Participates in surgical, obstetrical, gynecological, and critical care procedures according to training
- Instructs other healthcare providers and non-medical personnel on health-related topics
