About The Position

This position is supporting pharmacy services for E-Clinical Pharmacy in Peoria, IL. This position will offer remote work to the incumbent who resides within 65 miles of an OSF location. This remote work schedule is subject to change and is at discretion of pharmacy leadership. Must be able to travel in to Peoria for leadership meetings. The Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Pharmacy Services within their respective department, in partnership with pharmacy leadership. This position assists in managing pharmacy staff members to ensure policy, procedures, performance standards and service expectations are met and collaborates with pharmacy leadership in taking corrective staff action planning to mitigate efforts that impact OSF HealthCare. The Pharmacy Supervisor works collaboratively and maintains positive relationships with facility administrators, stakeholders, and necessary committees to meet business, regulatory, and service requirements. This role assists in effectively managing the capital, financial, and human resources of the pharmacy department including the pharmacy department's strategic plan, annual goals and policies procedures.

Requirements

  • 1 year pharmacy experience.
  • Active Pharmacist License validated by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required within 90 days of hire for acute and retail settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

  • Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD.)
  • PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
  • PGY2 Pharmacy Administration
  • 1 year pharmacy leadership experience.
  • Board Certification through Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
