About The Position

Ascension is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of the pharmacy staff. This role involves scheduling, training, and evaluating associates, as well as participating in hiring and termination procedures. The Pharmacy Supervisor will also act as a liaison between the pharmacy department and other hospital departments, physicians, and external customers, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the pharmacy staff.
• May perform the duties of a Pharmacist.
• Schedule and assign daily work assignments for pharmacy staff.
• Train, coach, and evaluate associates on performance expectations, and apply progressive discipline when appropriate.
• Participate in hiring and termination procedures within span of control.
• Act as liaison between department and other hospital departments, physicians and external customers in matters relating to pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure that procedures and policies comply with organizational, federal, state and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
