About The Position

Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers. Pharmacy Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Pharmacy Operations function.

Requirements

Candidate must be able to register with the State of Tennessee
Pharmacy Technician registration in the start of TN

Nice To Haves

4-8 years of experience in a pharmacy environment
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
National pharmacy technician certification

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team across data entry, order verification, and fulfillment processes.
Provide direct support to clinicians, resolving order-related inquiries and ensuring timely medication delivery.
Partner with dialysis clinics to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes through streamlined pharmacy operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and service quality.
Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff
Administers and exercises policies and procedures
Ensures employees operate within guidelines
Make decisions that have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers
Directly lead a team of pharmacy technicians and shippers; Indirectly lead a team of pharmacists
