This role is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards of care. The position involves developing quality improvement programs, instructing staff on these programs, and developing, implementing, and monitoring preventive maintenance and equipment replacement programs. The Supervisor, Patient Care will lead assigned Patient Care team members, select, develop, manage, and evaluate direct reports, and ensure timely performance appraisals. This role also requires staying current on management and health care topics, identifying and implementing cost-effective methodologies for supply and equipment delivery, and participating in healthcare teams and interdisciplinary committees to improve patient care. Additionally, the Supervisor will act as a liaison to various departments, promote collegial relationships, and perform related duties as required.
