About The Position

The Supervisor, Operations directs and coordinates warehouse and transportation activities to make optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel. The role works closely with department associates and is responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating employees. Duties may be performed personally or through associates, and other duties may be assigned to meet company goals.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse and transportation operations and interact closely with department associates.
• Direct, coordinate, and evaluate employees in the department.
• Manage and prioritize projects and schedules.
• Oversee all areas of inventory control.
• Maintain the sanitation and physical condition of the warehouse, material handling equipment, and rolling stock.
• Schedule and supervise repairs as needed.
• Direct the salvage of products identified as damaged or spoiled.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet company goals.
