About The Position

Directs and coordinates warehouse and transportation operations to optimize the use of equipment, facilities, and personnel. The supervisor works personally and through associates to direct operations and is responsible for the coordination and evaluation of warehouse and transportation employees. The role also oversees inventory control, warehouse sanitation and physical condition, equipment and rolling stock maintenance, and the salvage of damaged or spoiled products. Other duties may be assigned to meet Company goals.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse and transportation operations, interacting closely with department associates.
• Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees.
• Manage and prioritize projects and schedules.
• Oversee all areas of inventory control.
• Maintain the sanitation and physical condition of the warehouse, material handling equipment, and rolling stock.
• Schedule and supervise repairs as needed.
• Direct salvage of products identified as damaged or spoiled.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet Company goals.
