The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse with particular emphasis on managing warehouse associates and implementing warehouse action plans. This role provides direct daily supervision of warehouse associates to ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the warehouse. The Supervisor will plan and prioritize work, provide direction, delegate tasks, and remove obstacles to ensure work is completed effectively. They will also develop and deliver multi-mode communications, hold themselves and others accountable, and handle conflict situations effectively. This role involves developing and implementing shipping and receiving work schedules, directing inbound and outbound shipments, and regularly touring the warehouse to solve problems and evaluate operations. Recommendations for improving warehouse operations will be made to management, and equipment will be allocated for efficient utilization. The Supervisor will interact with other departmental management, attend planning meetings, and ensure timely preparation and maintenance of warehouse activity records and reports. They will review operating goals and standards, supervise the checking of freight, and ensure the warehouse is neat, organized, and that damage is prevented. Safety procedures and policies, including OSHA standards, will be enforced. The role also includes assisting with physical inventories, cycle counts, operational budgets, and ensuring Weber SSS (Safety, Security and Sanitation) procedures are followed and enforced. Root cause analysis for incidents and corrective actions will be performed as needed. The current schedule requirement for this role is Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM (varies based on business needs) and Saturday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
