About The Position

The Operations Supervisor oversees accurate and timely replenishment, picking, trouble resolution, and Value-Added Services (VAS) at VF’s Jonestown Distribution Center, which supports distribution of Vans and The North Face products. The role is responsible for product flow from replenishment through fast-pick and shelf-picking processes, trouble resolution, and VAS, while ensuring service and throughput goals are achieved.

The supervisor manages staffing, workload priorities, labor planning, budgets, forecasts, cost control, and supplies. They set measurable goals and daily objectives, lead and develop area associates, analyze distribution center and labor management reports, and ensure compliance with VF policies and procedures. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of equivalent warehouse experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Experience and proficiency with WMS (PkMS) or comparable warehouse management systems, RF, and MHE technologies.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop staff to improve performance and achieve goals.
• Ability to balance and prioritize competing demands.
• Ability to interact confidently and respectfully with all levels of management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in core computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both languages.
• Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours, including weekends, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accurate and timely replenishment, picking, trouble resolution, and Value-Added Services operations.
• Manage product from replenishment on a wave-by-wave basis through fast-pick/shelf-picking, trouble resolution, and VAS.
• Meet fiscal responsibility targets, including budgets, forecasts, cost control, and reporting related to labor planning and supplies.
• Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for daily and monthly workflows.
• Set clear, measurable goals for associates on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.
• Lead area associates to provide outstanding service to internal and external customers.
• Establish workload priorities and provide clear daily objectives for the supervised area.
• Create, generate, and analyze distribution center and labor management reports to ensure throughput goals are met.
• Ensure full compliance with VF policies and procedures.
• Work extended hours, including weekends, as necessary.
