Supervising and coordinating daily Instrument and Controls work on plant equipment and facilities consistent with standardized fleet practices, policies, and procedures. Supervising and directing craft and contractor personnel conducting Instrument & Controls maintenance-related work. Assigning tasks and managing personnel to ensure due dates and completion standards are met. Enforcing the terms of the company/union agreement. Investigating and settling grievances promptly. Maintain an environment conducive to nuclear and personnel safety. Ensure adherence to regulations, policies and procedures. Ensuring personnel are properly trained and qualified to perform assigned activities. Generating, investigating and processing Condition Reports. Enforcing established site standards and expectations with the work force by providing in-field oversight, mentoring and coaching for assigned work crews. Interfacing with other site groups to resolve issues. Conducting shop briefs and pre-job briefs. Implementing the daily schedule during on-line and outage periods. Providing on-line and pre-outage work order reviews, walk downs, and validation for correctness of scope, parts, clearances, and work package preparation. Performing Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties as assigned.
