This role involves supervising and coordinating daily Instrument and Controls (I&C) work on plant equipment and facilities, ensuring consistency with standardized fleet practices, policies, and procedures. The position requires supervising and directing craft and contractor personnel performing I&C maintenance-related tasks, assigning tasks, and managing personnel to meet deadlines and quality standards. It also involves enforcing company/union agreements, investigating and settling grievances, and maintaining a safe environment for nuclear and personnel safety. Adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures is critical, as is ensuring personnel are properly trained and qualified. The role includes generating, investigating, and processing Condition Reports, enforcing site standards through in-field oversight, mentoring, and coaching, and interfacing with other site groups to resolve issues. Daily and pre-job briefs are conducted, and the daily schedule is implemented during both on-line and outage periods. Responsibilities also include on-line and pre-outage work order reviews, walk-downs, and validation of scope, parts, clearances, and work package preparation. Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties may also be assigned.
