About The Position
HCT seeks certified medical staff services professionals for interim assignments. Under the direction of the department leader, you will provide assistance with the medical staff credentialing/privileging process for new and reappointment applications and temporary privileges and resolving issues/complaints.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Medical Staff Services professional within a hospital setting.
- Working knowledge of Medical Staff credentialing including initial applications, reappointments, expirables, and meeting minutes.
- Strong working knowledge of databases.
- Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- CPCS and/or CPMSM preferred
- Cactus experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with the medical staff credentialing/privileging process for new and reappointment applications and temporary privileges.
- Resolve issues/complaints related to medical staff credentialing/privileging.
